As I sit here writing this post about Spring and it’s arrival, it is 35 degrees outside with a chance of snow, but at least we are not in the position we were 1 year ago with 10 inches of snow arriving.
Time to take the kids to the park, get them out and get some exercise, start working on your lawn to remove winter damage (we had lots of limbs and sticks blow down this year), talk to Parks and Rec or the Y to see what you can get involved in this summer. Find someplace that needs help with a community garden that will share the bounty with it’s workers.
There are so many things to do so make your list today and start on it tomorrow when the weather is nicer. One thing we would like you to add to your list is Public Health Week. It is April 7th-11th at our building and we have something planned everyday with an open house scheduled for April 11th in the afternoon. This will showcase what public health does to keep our community healthier so make plans to come out sometime that week and see what we have to offer you.
Think positive thoughts and warmer weather will be here soon!
